신비학이라... 저는 기본적으로 신비적 관점에서의 접근을 탐탁치 않게 생각하긴 합니다만... 미지의 존재에 대한 신비는 인류의 오래된 정서이긴 하겠죠... 의외로 가장 합리적일거 같은 과학자들중에도 신비주의적 생각을 가지신 분들이 있으신 모양인거 같아요. 세계를 알아갈수록 더더욱 모르는게 많아져서 그런 것일거 같기도 하고 말이죠.

Some scientists introduced ether to explain the speed of light is constant, not infinite. In other words, we cannot add speed to the speed of light because the speed of light is kind of limited speed of all objects. Some guys explained this with the pressure or change of density of ether. Anyway it's wrong.

그렇다면 에테르와 암흑물질은 어떤 점에서 차이가 있나요?
빅뱅 이론을 증명하는데 암흑물질의 존재가 핵심이라고 알고 있는데
우주 공간을 채우고 있는 것으로 추정되는 암흑물질과 부정된 에테르는
어떤 부분에서 차이가 나는 건지 궁금하네요.

Dark matter doesn't interact with light. You know all objects attract by gravity. Ether has not been introduced for gravity.

Actually, by Einstein, matter makes spacetime curved. We can measure the curvature of our universe, while we can guess the total mass of the universe( we can observe some density of the universe with telescope.)

Above two observation(and calculation by theory) collided. They are contradict each other. If we assume dark matter, it would be done, but we cannot observe this, so scientists called it dark matter.(we cannot see it)

Dark matter is the subject which lots of physicists are currently researching. They also know a little.

Actually, big bang phenomenon is just one solution of Einstein gravtiy equation(It has many solution. like x^2 =1 has two solution).
However, scientists can modify it with cosmological constant, and they don't know what value does cosmological constant have.
