Tigers activated outfielder Carlos Guillen from the 15-day disabled list.
Guillen proved his health with a three-hit game at Triple-A Toledo
Wednesday night. He left behind a .200/.267/.244 major league batting
line, but is now finally back to full strength and should be an asset
on AL-only rosters. His return will hurt the playing time of both Ryan
Raburn and Clete Thomas.
Tigers designated outfielder Josh Anderson for assignment.
Anderson, 26, hit .242/.282/.315 with no home runs and 16 RBI in 165
at-bats with the Tigers. He could definitely draw interest from other
organizations.
Welcome!
